Food at the AIFF was yummy!
The food at AIFFgenerally followed the same menu as in 2009 (below). One difference was that from 2005-2007 the salads and desserts were brought by attenders and shared “pot-luck” style.
The Lamb and Pig Roast was included in the price of admission.
It was one big communal feed-bag!
Lamb & Pig roasted on site during the festival at 4:30pm also included:
Corn on the Cob Beans
Home-made Bread by Thomas Sylvester
Salads Water to drink
Ice cream with your choice of berry or chocolate sauce
——————————————————————————
Wine, beer, soft drinks and juice were also available for purchase
In 2009 WATER was provided free of charge from the filtration system at the Lodge, so folks were encouraged to bring a cup or bottle and save the planet by not doing the “bottled water” thing.

In 2009, DURING THE DAY there was also a CASH BBQ of Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, sausages etc, plus a bar beverages to purchase.
This last part was not part of the AIFF ticket price, but were operated by The Amherst Island Men’s Society and the Amherst Island Women’s Institute.
